This is the hub of the area. It has a great main street, classic new england white church. Nice street to walk along and do some shopping.

Park at the lot at the end of the road, and i’ts just a short 10 min walk to the falls. Have to walk thru water. So beautiful.
It’s a 1 hr hike up to this beautiful pond. Moderate level. Can start at route 108, gorgeous view at the top!

Take a scenic drive up an elevation of 3,850 feet to the top of Mt. Mansfield. There is a 20 hike to the “nose”. There are stunning views of Lake Champlain and the Adirondacks. Tolls are $25 per car ($9 per person over six people)
For real! Sound of Music! History Tours are conducted daily on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays.
Stoweflake Hot Air Balloon Festival
This popular celebration includes a live band, great food, beer and wine garden, optional balloon launch rides ($275 pp) and tethered rides ($10pp). Admission fee for the evening festival ($10).
